Richard, Duke of Gloucester, helped his older brother secure the throne in the fight against the Lancasters. Unbeknownst to all, even his brothers, he longs to wear the crown himself. As he is only fifth in line, he devises truly heinous plots to accuse, arrest, execute, or murder any and all that would stand in his way, while maintaining an air of outward innocence and respectability until the very end.
